“Can you get to sleep if I’m sitting right here staring at you?”
“I can if you stop asking me questions.” I giggled but kept my eyes closed.
“OK, I’ll be quiet.”
I was asleep within just a few minutes. I had the same kind of dream. I started floating through the house to the outside. I went up into some kind of spaceship where figures surrounded me on a table. I felt warm and aroused. There were so many hands, and they did so many things to me. It was all kind of hazy, but it felt so good. But just like every time before, I woke up exhausted. This time I found Jessie cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
“Hey, you didn’t have to cook. I was going to do that.” I walked over to the stove to see what she had on.
“No worries, I was getting hungry, so I just started something myself.” Jessie finished up the scrambled eggs and sausage links she had prepared and dished them out on two plates.
“Well, it looks good to me. So, I’m dying to know. Did you see anything interesting?” I sat down at the dining room table, and Jessie joined me.
“Nothing, you seemed to be sleeping quite well when I watched you. I finally went to bed around midnight, so we’ll have to check the tape for the rest.”
We finished our meal, and Jessie retrieved her laptop to load up the video. There were several hours to go through so we decided to watch on fast forward the first time through to see if we could narrow down the section to study. Every hour or so you see me changing sides a few times, but after 3:30 we saw some strange movements.
“Whoa, whoa, stop and back up.” I pointed at the screen, but Jessie was already in motion to do the same.
“What the hell was that?” Jessie rewound the tape to 3:28 and clicked play.
We sat there with our jaws agape as we watched my body rise above my bed. The video quality started to decrease, and interference was picked up. I hovered above my bed for 20 seconds while the picture went further and further out of focus and lines appeared across the screen till nothing could be discerned.
“What the holy hell was that?” I sat back in my seat. “What happened to the picture? Is there anything after that?”
“Um, let me fast forward again and see.” Jessie’s voice shook, and I saw her hands shake as she tried to navigate her laptop.
We advanced the tape another 2 minutes, and the tape cleared up. I was no longer in the room. We let it run at normal speed for a few minutes while we talked.
“What did we just see?” I looked at Jessie.
